In the past, I have made roman shades where I glued on the battens/ribs with fabric glue, but no matter how neatly I did it, the glue could still be seen through the front side of the fabric. This tape was a great solution! It irons on very easily, the ribs slide into it smoothly. I'll never make another roman shade with the fabric glue--which is good because the tape comes in a huge roll so there's plenty left for future shades!
